That first flight from Toronto to Miami was tough...
As I boarded the plane, all these thoughts just pushed into my head wondering about softball ministry, relationships with people back home, things I want to do in Toronto, and fellowship outings.
I really just didn't know how to let go of these things so I could just focus on the task God has at hand for me.
Yet as I lifted these worries up to God in prayer, He reminded me that life isn't about me and what I can do to make things 'perfect' - life is about Him and He holds it together. It doesn't come down to my wants and desires, but it always comes back to God's Will.
Now I just have to trust that as I learn to let go of everything I'm holding on to, as I learn to let go of my own pride and desires, He has a greater reward and plan for me full of His blessings and love.
He is good.
